Broken System: Report Reveals Nearly 90% Of People Don’t Like Their Jobs

Do you actually enjoy your job? Statistically speaking, there’s a very good chance that your answer is a resounding NO. And that’s an extremely sad reality.

In fact, survey results published by organizations like Gallup have been very clear: a large percentage of people around the world do not love their job; many hate them. And it’s not a new thing, but a concerning crisis that has continued on for many years.

One Forbes report detailing one of Gallup’s investigations into the relationship between workplace and worker revealed:

“…87% of workers worldwide who, as Gallup puts it, “are emotionally disconnected from their workplaces and less likely to be productive.” In other words, work is more often a source of frustration than one of fulfillment for nearly 90% of the world’s workers. That means that most workplaces are less productive and less safe than they could be and employers are less likely to create new jobs.”

For nearly 90% of workers, their job isn’t a sense of: joy, pride, excitement, or fulfillment. Instead, it’s a source of frustration.

Here’s one of my recent videos on this disturbing truth…

In a breakdown piece by Gallup writer Jim Clifton entitled ‘The World’s Broken Workplace,’ the results of a Gallup World Poll are summarized similarly. Only 15% of workers are found to be engaged at their job, and many are furious at their boss or company.

“According to Gallup’s World Poll, many people in the world hate their job and especially their boss… Only 15% of the world’s one billion full-time workers are engaged at work.”

In other words… 85% of people worldwide don’t truly enjoy their jobs — the activity they spend 8+ hours per day doing. What a highly broken system in need of serious repair.
